An exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller who will take responsibility for the Charity's accounting systems and leading a small finance team. Reporting to the Director of Finance & IT, you will have a high level of operational visibility with the senior management team. You will take full responsibility for all aspects of the charity's accounting systems, and have the opportunity to influence and improve systems to ensure full advantage is taken from MS Dynamics GP which has recently been implemented. The role involves a hands-on approach with day-to-day leadership of the finance team and offers significant opportunities for involvement in the charity's exciting plans to develop and grow.

Who we're looking for
You will be a qualified accountant with a track record of delivering financial control, running effective & efficient processes & the drive, ability and experience to lead & inspire a small dedicated team of accountants during this exciting period in the charity's development. You will have a commitment to ensuring the effective operation of the charity's finance systems and scheduling work with HR, fundraising and other managers to ensure timetables are met. We are looking for a Financial Controller who is able to work closely with members of the senior management team in the preparation of budgets and monitoring and explaining financial information.
