As Pre-Construction Manager you will be responsible for leading and developing an embryonic pre-construction team of estimating and design staff for bids, tenders and pre-contract activities. You will be responsible for the projects from initial enquiry through to the delivery phase handing the projects on to the site project teams. You will have responsibility to the estimating team, producing initial estimates through to detailed cost plans. You will also have responsibility for the design co-ordination function as well as identifying and managing contractual risk.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will be from a commercial background, most likely estimating, and may be in the position that they are ready to move into a Managing Estimators role. You will have experience of working on multi-discipline projects across the education, healthcare, commercial, retail and industrial sectors on projects between £2m and £15m. You will be working for a main contractor and be in a front end role.
