An exciting opportunity exists to contribute to the future strategy of this highly successful electronics component manufacturer.

A key part of this role is to manage a number of key manufacturing plants around the world, together with their supplier base and contractual agreements.

In order to be successful the position requires taking complete responsibility to lead a team of people to purchase goods, minimise stock and waste, drive product quality higher and provide on-time delivery at minimum cost.

Who we're looking for
• An individual with proven success in an operations discipline of an electronics manufacturer.
• A recognised electrical/electronics qualification to Degree level.
• A proven team leader who can earn the respect of their team and demonstrate the ability to negotiate and successfully manage manufacturing contracts.
• The successful individual will have the ability to take a strategic view of a number of key global business units and make informed decisions for implementing changes across a culturally diverse organisation.
• Demonstrable knowledge of modern manufacturing systems and exposure to a lean environment, having used tools such as JIT and KANBAN.
