As Marketing Controller based in Horsham your main purpose will be to design and deliver the Freedom Food brand/scheme marketing strategy to drive high quality growth of the scheme and to develop the brand to ensure its integrity and that of the parent RSPCA brand.
Reporting directly to the CEO you will provide advice in order to maximise the scheme's relationships with all stakeholders. This will involve research, selection, price negotiation, contract preparation and the building of effective relationships with external advertising and PR agencies. You will be required to create and manage a communication strategy for the membership and provide regular updates to the Freedom Food board including performance against the annual plan.
Your role will also involve setting the standards for internal communications between Freedom Food and the RSPCA, monitoring these standards and taking corrective action when necessary.
To assist with your overall responsibilities you will have a team of direct reports who you will fully manage, including recruitment, selection and appraisals for this team.
