As a business undergoing significant change within the supply chain we are looking for planners (either demand planners or supply planners) based within the Slough area who have an outstanding IT background. You must have a working knowledge of Manugistics or SAP-APO.
In this business critical role you will be interacting between UK sales forecasting process, involving liaison with sales account managers, marketing, customer marketing, supply chain, customer logistics functions and customers.
Key Responsibilities Include.
• Accountable for the sales forecasting and demand planning
• Driving the management and control of finished goods inventory
• Carry out reviews with Sales and Marketing teams to understand and challenge forecasts at account and SKU level
• Build a rolling SKU level forecast for the UK business which is communicated to the business on a monthly basis
• Run monthly forecast accuracy reports analysing and monitoring trends by SKU's and accounts, recommending and implementing actions to continually improve accuracy
• Act as front line contact for daily queries on sales v. forecast issues and re-visit forecast as necessary
• Support project teams in providing accurate forecasts for New Product Development
• Responsible for daily and monthly system processes, ensuring data integrity is maintained
Who we're looking for
You must have a great track record of managing demand and supply plans on Manugistics or SAP-APO. As the business has an ongoing improvement program you will also be used to working in a project driven environment and be able to adapt quickly to change.
