• The successful Product managers will have a vision for their products' development and create ground breaking ideas to keep our clients hardware in advance of the competition, while fully meeting the needs of the company's customers and users.
• The post holder will manager the lifetime commercial success of elements of the clients product portfolio, acting as the product champion within the company. You will be expected to take into account the product range as part of a total classroom solution and take joint responsibility with colleagues for ensuring that the total solution and associated training meets customer needs on a competitive basis worldwide.
• Core functions are to conceive, evaluate and determine new products and new product features. You will be the "market expert" in the area of responsibility, understanding customers current and future requirements and the strengths and weaknesses of competitors' products.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage the combination of commercial objectives and customer requirements. Previous experience of managing the financial success of a portfolio of products in a similar or larger organisation is essential and you will have had extensive experience in hardware product development.
It will be advantageous for applicants to have an awareness of the current business processes and methodologies used by educational institutions with a clear understanding of how effective deployment of our clients hardware and software products can enhance teaching and learning.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, as is quantitative analytical abilities.
Other key attributes include:
• Customer handling skills with the ability to achieve this along side commercial objectives
• Excellent organisational and time management skills in order to coordinate the variety of tasks needed to fulfil the job requirements.
• Computer literate with an appreciation of computer systems and technology
• A degree level education and/ or a professional marketing qualification
