The PR account manager will report directly into the account directors, working on multiple campaigns. You will be required to develop and execute agreed programmes for specific clients as directed by the Account Directors.
You will also need to monitor the client's expenditure within agreed budget levels, establish and maintain a level of understanding of the business, programmes and contacts. You will also research and prepare all items required for the implementation of PR programmes, involving trade press and technology press.
Build relationships with relevant media, produce press lists and forward feature programmes. Research and write press releases, features, photo captions and proposals for client activities.
Who we're looking for
The PR Account Manager will be required to have the following skills:
-Previous experience in a PR consultancy and experience of working on technology accounts. Fluent writing style essential. Client side and/or journalism experience an advantage.
-Must be comfortable working in a small team environment and have the ambition to learn and apply further marketing communications disciplines. Must be a team player, who is willing to get their "hands dirty".
