The post holder will support the Head of Finance in terms of service delivery, service management and development, policy advice and formulation and resource management. This post is responsible for overall control of the Accounting Services team and works closely with the Head of Finance. Accounting Services is a diverse team with services ranging from treasury management through to concessionary fares.

Who we're looking for
We seek a CCAB qualified accountant with the drive and ability to evaluate and recommend improvements to financial and operational performance. You will have experience of leading and managing teams, resources, services and projects in a large complex organisation, ideally local government.
