The Senior Director Corporate Security will be a proactive business partner of senior and local management sharing responsibility for the security and protection of the corporation's employees, facilities and assets. Working out of Thames Valley this enterprise-wide function will design and direct the Emergency Planning and Response programs required to appropriately respond to natural or man-made disasters. This involves the coordination of emergency planning, training, and response activities required to maintain and implement the Company's Emergency Plan as well as individual business unit and department plans. This position will also be responsible for putting in place policies and programs consistent with international security directives. Additionally, this position will direct the investigation of internal misconduct and other security related incidents, the design and implementation of cost effective security systems, and provide training and consulting services on a proactive basis. The protection of facilities and assets will include the Company's intellectual property and assisting the physical site locations with strategic advice.
Specific Duties
The Director of Corporate Security will be responsible for the following activities:
• Develop and coordinate all appropriate emergency planning, training, and response activities required to prepare for natural and man-made emergencies.
• Design and implement cost effective strategic security systems that ensure the protection of employees, facilities, and assets enterprise-wide.
• Direct and coordinate all required security and emergency response interfaces between internal and external principals.
• Participate actively in all state and national security and emergency planning initiatives and regulations that directly impact the well being of the corporation.
• Provide strategic oversight and coordination with security resource embedded within the travel industry ensuring a shared accountability for successful management of all security related issues.
• Keep senior management and the Board of Directors apprised of the ongoing status of corporate-wide security issues and emergency plans to ensure proper response in a timely manner.
• Provide objective analyses and informed opinions with regard to any security and/or emergency planning related issues, situations, or proposed regulations that can have a direct impact on the corporation.
Who we're looking for
As Senior Director Corporate Security will be a minimum of Bachelor degree qualified and be flawless at implementing programs that are cost effective pragmatic security solutions. You shall be able to assess both internal and external trends that are of importance to the Company and develop and implement creative and innovative business oriented responses. You must be proactive and forward thinking with a logical thought process to each task as well as being an excellent communicator at all levels.
