• An opportunity has arisen to work in the Financial Planning Team of the Accountancy section. The Accountancy section is a professional and highly motivated team responsible for setting revenue and capital budgets, providing financial advice to service managers, financial monitoring, final account preparation, financial systems and treasury management.
• Opportunities can arise for senior accountants to work in each of these disciplines; it is however envisaged that this post will initially be involved in providing financial support to a service, preparing and monitoring revenue budgets, completing grant claims and closing the accounts for that service.

Who we're looking for
You will hold a professional accountancy qualification and ideally have a passion to work in a public sector organisation. The ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels is essential as are your organisational skills and attention to detail.

About our client
The organisation is undergoing an exciting period of 'transformation' with a new corporate management team and new Directorate structure. Providing financial support to managers to help facilitate these changes and provide improved services for local residents will provide an exciting challenge for an enthusiastic finance professional.
