This is a superb opportunity for a Production Manager to join a leading global organisation with excellent scope for progression. As Production Manager you will be responsible for effectively leading teams to ensure that productivity standards are achieved through out the manufacturing facility. You will achieve the optimum use of operational resources through the leadership and development of the team by supporting continuous improvement activities and delivering a quality service.

Key responsibilities include:
• Managing teams on a daily basis, creating and maintaining a positive, safe and productive working environment.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure the production team has the flexibility to respond to continuing changes in demand.
• Effectively manage labour resources to ensure production targets are met.
• Liaise with the planning team to make sure that the production targets are realistically achievable.

Who we're looking for
With a proven track record of success within a highly pressured manufacturing environment, your ability to prioritise, lead and motivate will be key. Self-motivated and confident, you must have a flexible and persistent approach to problem solving and thrive on the challenge of achieving results.

You must have:
• Production Management experience within a fast moving and changing work environment such as FMCG, Automotive or high volume manufacturing.
• Ability to implement and interpret business critical KPIs.
• Ability to solve problems, generate solutions and make justified decisions that influence key stakeholders.
• Experience in the successful use and practice of continuous improvement tools and methods (including Lean, Kaizen, 5S).
