Financial Controller

This leading international business is looking for a progressive individual to lead the finance function forward.
Responsibilities include;

• Providing input to group on all issues relating to site accounts/finance.
• Approving the monthly financial results before they are released to senior management & group.
• Producing all cost trend and benchmarking reports to ensure management decisions are made with the best available data.
• Preparing all major capital proposals for the GM, using Company guidelines & vet all capital proposals before they are submitted to the group.
• Undertaking business analyses and advising the senior management team on cost drivers & capital utilisation.
• Ensuring daily profitability statistics are available.
• Monitoring cash receipts (including credit control), payments & stocks to ensure cash balances are kept below target levels & cash flow is maximised.
• To ensure accurate stock figures.
• To oversee the maintenance of the fixed assets register.
• Managing the auditors for the annual audits.
• Acting as an adviser to the management team on all financial issues.

Who we're looking for
• Degree and professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years in a Finance Department.
• Leadership ability, positive proactive approach and ability to gain confidence of colleagues.
• Capability to understand the dynamics of the organisation and how we interface with customers and suppliers.
