Reporting into the Sourcing Manager and CEO, the successful candidate for the London based Procurement Manager role,you will be responsible for sourcing a wide range of materials, parts and machinery. In addition to this the role will encompass a shipping aspect, ensuring the smooth delivery of these objects on an intercontinental basis. You will be reporting cross functionally to a large number of top level stakeholders in a number of business units. Your key responsibilities will be:

-Sourcing and procuring a range of goods and services for the consumption of the business.
-Supplier management
-You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the progress of orders, ensuring a smooth process occurs.
-Liaising with freight agents (air and sea) and ensuring shipping documentation meets the required standards.
-Involvement in import/export as well as the customs side of the business, primarily working with Nigeria.

Who we're looking for
You will have two core areas of experience. Firstly you will have a solid grounding in procurement, in particular around the direct and cap ex categories. Secondly you will have some experience of working with Nigerian shipping regulations and systems. In addition to this you will have the soft skills required to interface with top level stakeholders in the business.
