The Consultant will be actively involved in preparing large and complex tax planning, transactional and employee share incentive projects in order to achieve budget and maintain client satisfaction. Will additionally be required to Identify risk areas in client situations and produce appropriate proposals for agreement with the Head of Tax Consultancy and Senior Consultants.
• Undertake informed risk assessments of client situations to ensure excellent technical standards are maintained.
• Draft tax planning advice, undertake technical research and prepare employee share incentive scheme projects, accurately and to a high professional standard, within timescales and budget for sign off by the Head of Tax Consultancy and Senior Consultants.
• Develop good relationships with allocated clients in order to identify additional business opportunities.
• Maintain departmental client care standards in order to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Work with other members of the team, drawing on technical expertise and experience, to support the achievement of departmental objectives.
• Proactively manage billing and WIP of allocated clients in order to achieve targets.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless client delivery and appropriate level of activity and fees.
• Undertake departmental marketing activity (seminars, mail-outs) to develop new business opportunities.
• Assist in the development of new products and services from technical developments.
Who we're looking for
ACA or CTA with experience within a tax environment.
