This is an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional finance professional to take a pivotal role as Finance Director Designatein aiding the senior board members and being involved in key decision making in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
-Delivering financial control and commercial insight into the performance and the implications of its commercial and strategic decisions
-Leading the integration of a new IT platform
-Responsibility of the preparation of the full monthly and annual accounts
-Managing all bonding, guarantee, warranty and insurance matters
-Full responsibility for payroll, dealing with salaried staff personally
-Budgeting and forecasts - advising the Board on risks and opportunities and their implications
-Cash flow forecasting and management of the Company's funding facilities to allow a rapid response to ever changing market conditions.
- Provide sound financial advice and play a key role in the management of existing bank relationships.
Who we're looking for
You will be a technically strong, qualified accountant, preferably ACA with experience in construction, utilities or an industry sector with significant synergies.
You will be diplomatic with well developed influencing skills, excellent management ability and experience in change management. You will also possess good IT skills and be commercially aware.
