Reporting to the Inventory Manager, you will work as part of a team and will actively be involved with the following:
• Maintenance of the ordering and supply procedures for each supplier, whilst developing strong working relationships with suppliers
•Tight control and recordingof new products into the Distribution Centre prior to release
• Management of discounted stock lines
• Plan of future stock holding to meet business requirements using the forecasting and inventory planning system
In addition to the above, you will liaise closely with Buying/Merchandising/Accounts to identify and resolve problems relating to suppliers. You will also develop close working relationships with production and supply chain managers.
Who we're looking for
We are ideally seeking those candidate who have a proven track record working in a similar role. You will have a thorough understanding of statistical analysis and Inventory Management techniques. Strong negotiation/influencing skills are key.
