As Head of UK IT Service Delivery for our market leading client you will have a huge opportunity to add value to the business and deliver excellent service.

The role reports to the UK Finance Director and is responsible for leading and developing the staff in the IT infrastructure department. You will ensure IT staff have and use the systems and processes required to deliver an appropriate service.

As Head of UK IT Service Delivery, you will be a senior management figure and be expected to have credibility at all levels throughout the organisation and externally with suppliers/partners. The successful candidate will be working through influence more than through direction.

You will be expected to maintain an effective 24x7 support operation, combining business and 3rd party resources.
The Head of UK IT Service Delivery will manage an effective change control process, that gives the flexibility the business requires, but also the due rigour to ensure minimal interruption to the service from IT.
The successful candidate will be constantly improving the level of service from IT by removing common causes of disruption.

You will take ownership of the infrastructure of hardware and software that together deliver the business systems used in the UK, and increasingly by the rest of the Group.

Who we're looking for
We are looking for an excellent communicator as you will be interacting with key stakeholders regularly, so your written and verbal communication must be first rate.
As Head of UK IT Service Delivery you will be expected to have demonstrable experience in the following areas:-

- Vendor Management
- Service Delivery
- People Management
- Influencing Skills
- Project Delivery
- Process Implementation.

You must have a solid technical understanding of IT concepts and solutions.
