As a result of considerable and sustained growth over the last few years, the firm is looking to recruit professionals whose role will be instrumental in supporting the continued development of the firm. Of particular interest are Corporate Tax Senior. The structure of the firm is such that there is the option to specialise in a particular industry sector.
Who we're looking for
The firm is looking for tax professionals (either qualified accountants or CTA) with a flexible style, able to work effectively in teams to provide an exceptional level of client service. You can expect a first class structured training and appraisal programme together with a high level of technical support.
Supervising the work of junior members of staff, principally the preparation of tax computations and tax payment advice plus correspondence with the Inland Revenue.
Review of computations, including ensuring adequacy of information requests to clients and liaising with specialists on technical matters.
Dealing with Inland Revenue enquiries and negotiating on contentious points.
Understanding technical matters and presenting them in a comprehensible and practical way.
Liaising with colleagues in the audit and accounting discipline to provide a co-ordinated service to the client.
Keeping internal control records up to date and ensuring compliance with quality control procedures.
Carrying out tax audits in accordance with terms of reference agreed with the audit team. Advising the audit team of potential tax exposure.
Identifying and exploiting other business development opportunities on clients.
Working with senior management on advisory projects
Researching technical issues arising from the due diligence process in order to assess risk of tax exposures.
