The Director - Procurement Consultancy takes overall responsibility for the simultaneous delivery of multiple projects and where applicable expanding the remit of those projects to the mutual benefit of the consultancy and their clients.

The role will involve the proactive identification of opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvements across projects, along with new business development activities. These may be in terms of direct or indirect cost savings, through improved supplier service delivery, to developing and implementing improved processes and approaches as part of new best-practice procurement solutions.

Senior Managers may manage teams of client and / or internal resources in the delivery of this work, and will be the primary point of contact with the client for the projects.

Key Responsibilities

?X Identify and develop new business opportunities within new and existing client sites
?X This role may involve active participation inthe consultancy'sSenior Management Team

Who we're looking for
Successful candidates will have consistently demonstrated excellence in their careers and education to date with a 'can do' attitude. They will possess outstanding team-working and analytical skills with the ability to focus on results and get things done. They will be able to articulate results and ideas in a concise manner to both internal colleagues and external clients. They will have the capacity to deliver outstanding consulting work to tight deadlines while being focussed on more than one project at a time.

Ideal candidates would have experience in several of the following areas. Experience in procurement project delivery and consultancy is essential:
?X strategic sourcing experience in a top-tier consulting firm or
?X blue chip procurement experience<BR>?X Managing and delivering procurement projects
?X Engagement management
?X Business development

We require a good degree from a top UK or international University. The job may require a certain amount of travel.
