The role is to provide additional depth of experience in an expanding unit of 20 people, dealing principally with legal practices, although there are some other professional partnerships, small to medium companies, including a number of newly incorporated businesses.
The role is multi faceted in that we are looking for someone with strong business tax skills as well as being a qualified accountant.

Files and clients will include a range of practices, from sole practitioners to large LLPs and partnerships.
Smooth delivery of tax compliance and planning services to clients, and responsibility for tax planning projects.
Some file reviews ensuring timely completion of accounts and SAR audit work.
Budgeting time allocation to assignments and explaining variances from budget.
Business development, including the preparation of articles for inclusion in our Legal Focuses, legal press etc, presentations to potential clients etc.
One-off project work for our clients, such as assistance with internal management reporting, practice structure assignments, practice tax planning work, etc.
Active involvement in the development and growth of the Legal Team, including participation in tender presentations, seminars, other professional development activities, etc. You will be one of the more visible members, becoming one of the main points of contact for clients, contacts, potential clients, etc.
Supervision and training of junior members of the team.

The firm is looking for tax professionals (either qualified accountants or CTA) with a flexible style, able to work effectively in teams to provide an exceptional level of client service.
