As a key member of the divisional supply chain team you will provide leadership and direction for demand planning and forecasting. You will be responsible for measuring and monitoring forecast accuracy and communicating and challenging significant changes whilst developing key working relationships with key commercial staff to ensure that the best forecasts are generated. This role is also very pivotal for the rest of the supply chain team as the forecast is the basis for decision making and other key activities. You will ensure that all required process times within the forecast cycle are addressed and adhered to, this will involve capturing and reviewing sales history data and to analyse these figures to to make necessary changes to the forecast.
You will liaise with relevant business functions and teams to report figures and any relevant information to improve forecasting.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will be degree qualified or equivalent, you will have a strong supply chain background, ideally focused on demand planning or forecasting ideally within an FMCG environment and posses strong numerical and analytical skills to manage and monitor actual targets against forecasts and to take corrective action when needed. As the senior demand planner you will be able to demonstrate excellent Communication and People - Management skills to drive the team forward to achieve set targets.
