The Quality Engineer will:
• Analyse the existing production processes and identify causes of waste and compliance failure.
• Draw potential reasons for failure from the production personnel, ensure investigations are carried out, experimental changes are tested and new processes/procedures are put in place.
• Ensure the changes put in place are complied too.
• Build the existing ISO9001 quality system, developing policies and approach when required.
Who we're looking for
An experienced Quality Engineer who:
• Comes from a Printing, Press, Automotive, Rubber, Plastics or Web background.
• Can give practical examples of diagnostics, fault finding, drawing ideas from production personnel and creating positive change which improves quality and reduces failure - demonstrated as a cost saving.
• Can bring techniques and structure from another company to this business, is driven to succeed and is excited at the chance to make a real tangible difference.
• Is keen to take responsibility for Quality and would relish the opportunity to develop it into a Quality Management role responsible for both sites.
• Has experience of operating in a ISO 9001 system.
