As an HR and payroll professional for this leading public sector organisation in the North East you will be tasked with building and implementing a new payroll solution for this shared service provision.
Your responsibilities will include developing a cost effective, streamline, generic system that is able to link to HR and the rest of the organisation when required. You will be strong minded as you may be required to stand your ground and challenge existing recommendations.
Other responsibilities will include:
• Direct report to the line manager on progress
• Ability to train and transfer your skills to existing colleagues
• Testing of the new system
• Dealing with existing discrepancies and implementing future solutions
Who we're looking for
Our client is looking for an HR and Payroll professional to develop their new payroll system. You will have an understanding in developing, setting up, streamlining and testing payroll solutions and possess the following qualities:
• End user knowledge of Oracle
• Experience of general Payroll Systems
• An understanding of payroll administration and legislation
