Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant the successful candidate will be an integral part of the reporting team responsible for the month end and year end processes. As a key member of the team your role will incorporate:
• The financial close and reporting processes.
• Project costing - including financial management and reporting of specific projects, including application of long-term contract accounting.
• The production of detailed financial performance commentaries, variance analysis.
• Assisting the preparation of financial budgets, forecasts and long-term business plans.
• Working closely with budget holders and contract managers as necessary - commercial astuteness.
• Cash and working capital management.
Who we're looking for
• CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant or Passed Finalist.
• Strong management accounts experience.
• Experience of using a recognised accounting software system.
• Strong project costing experience.
• Full understanding and control of cash and working capital.
