The role is working on a mixed portfolio, with a broad range of clients and responsibility for both compliance and consultancy work. The portfolio is mainly corporate, but also includes several partnerships, HNW individuals, international clients. We also have an interesting specialist teamwithin the Entertainment Industry as well.
Main responsibilities include:
• Supervising one Tax Trainee/Assistant.
• Responsibility for the compliance timetable on corporate clients
• Reporting to Senior Manager and working closely with several Tax Directors.
• Managing a sub-portfolio comprising of a range of cases within the team's client-base, and having primary responsibility for those cases.
• Assisting with tax planning work and monitoring latest technical developments.
Who we're looking for
Ideal candidate for the Corporate Tax Manager in Londonwould be CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified, with experience of personal and corporate taxes. Relevant management experience is required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technical skills, ability to deal with complex and challenging issues
• Effective time management and organisational skills
• Experience of supervising staff
