Reporting to the site General Manager and working with the senior business management team, the successful candidate will manage a £multi million site transformation and cultural change programme in a high volume manufacturing environment . They will also lead a newly formed team in the project management of a major capital programme including investment in new facilities, plant and equipment and the implementation of lean techniques to achieve world class business performance.

Who we're looking for
With an engineering background the ideal candidate will have a demonstrable history as an Operations Manager, who has also led major capital investment programmes. They will also be able to demonstrate some of the following:
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and business improvement techniques.
• Well developed people and influencing skills
• A demonstrable background in the control of budgets and capital expenditure
• A background of working in a unionised environment
