This is a great opportunity for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join a recognised global business based in Leicester.
Reporting to the Purchasing and Quality Manager you will be focussing on -
• Management of quality systems and procedures within an automotive/Aerospace business.
• Drive of Total Quality Management into the organisation through the utilisation of lean manufacturing techniques.
• Supplier on conformance issues to include external supplier audit and supplier agreements.
• Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
• Development of a quality focussed culture within the team.

Who we're looking for
You will be an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer with proven ability of dealing with suppliers within a manufacturing environment. You must be a strong communicator and negotiator as you will need to liaise with all internal departments and external suppliers and customers. You will need to be able to demonstrate knowledge of continuous improvement and be able to drive this forward within the business in order to improve quality standards. You will have demonstrable experience of 8D, FMEA and other Quality Management Systems, as well as having a background in internal and external auditing.
