This is a development role within this firm. You will head up a new team developing the privately funded claimant employment practice. My client has ambitious plans and would ideally like to see the team grown to three people by the end of the year - a recruitment process which you will have autonomy to drive forward.
As a new part of the business you will have to develop my client's presence in the market and build upon their union experience. The role therefore includes a great deal of business development, marketing and networking around Manchester.
My client is fully up to date with IT and flexible working and working from home, manoeuvrable hours and key benefits will all be available. Not a firm that 'cracks the whip' you may find your monthly hours target is very manageable.
There are excellent prospects for this role - the right incumbent may be a partner or partner designate. Those applicants not currently at that level should be aware of the acute possibility of achieving this is the near future upon being hired.

Who we're looking for
• You will be an established legal practitioner from either a claimant or respondent background.
• You will be looking for a top-end move.
• You will possess the required gravitas and business development skills to push forward this new department and make it a strong player in the Manchester market.
• It is not necessary that you have a following - any would be advantageous however.
• You will be looking for a career defining move - this is the way to make your mark in the Legal market.
