This is a pivotal role as the first level support for the Finance Director, this candidate needs to be both challenging and supporting to the global business. International travel will be an integral part of this Financial Controller role although the permanent base in Hull, East Yorkshire.
• Leading a team of professionals to provide financial control over the reporting of business results and forecasts.
• Working with the senior executive team to ensure that performance is challenged, clearly analysed and reported.
• Leading the financial processes for monthly and annual reporting, budgeting and strategic planning.
• Accountable for the SOX compliance across the global business.
• Leading the financial analysis and challenge for business development and other opportunities, carrying out business reviews and due diligence.
Who we're looking for
Based in Hull, East Yorkshire the successful candidate for this Financial Controller role will be preferably ACA qualified, have a detailed understanding of accounting regulations and have worked in a multinational organisation previously. Exposure to manufacturing and the US market would be beneficial. You will have a desire to succeed, be of a challenging nature and have the ability to influence at all levels.
