Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, you will manage a large scale high-volume Transport operation for this major non-food retailer. Working in a complex, environment that operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week, you will take accountability for ensuring that the high levels of service required are achieved time and again. In addition, you will manage and develop a team of Transport Managers to ensure that drivers and equipment are utilised efficiently and effectively. Implementing procedures and systems to provide adherence to all relevant legislation will be another key aspect of this role.

Who we're looking for
You will be a graduate-calibre Transport professional who has operated at the highest level within FMCG distribution and is ready to move on to the next challenge. The ability to communicate and man manage at all levels will be paramount here as will be foresight and strategic awareness to implement cultural and operational changes.
