The position of Personal Tax Manager/Senior Manager/Director based in Manchester will have the following responsibilities:
• Providing technical advice, both to clients and internal clients
• Strong liaison with Personal Tax Centres
• Transaction based personal tax planning
Who we're looking for
To be considered for the position of Personal Tax Manager/Senior Manager/Director you will require the following:
· ACA/CA/ACCA; or ATII/CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to ATII).
· Client driven and commercially aware.
· Ability to identify and manage areas of risk within clients' business and know when to refer upwards.
· Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral.
· Negotiation skills, able to sustain opinion and handle challenges.
· Strong client relationship skills with ability to deliver quality outputs to clients and business development skills.
· Relevant/appropriate tax experience at manager/senior manager or director level .
· Strong technical skills; a deep and wide knowledge of personal tax, awareness of technical issues beyond own specialism. A knowledge or interest in Trusts is also desirable.
