Senior Manager Corporate Tax (Glasgow)

As a Senior Manager in this flourishing Corporate Tax team you will be involved in the full client engagement process, enabling you to develop broader business tax skills and specialise if you want to. The firm will provide you with the tools to reach your full potential and beyond. Be considered the expert in your chosen field by your peers.

Your ability to focus on clients and deliver innovative tax solutions will be enhanced by knowledge of specific business environments including large multi-nationals, financial services and the chance to work with many household names. Use your networking skills to proactively grow the practice, adding real value and making an impact both on the firm and to your clients. You will be responsible for managing and delivering strategic tax planning on matters ranging from tax efficient financing, mergers, acquisitions and disposals, restructuring and complex tax authority enquiries for elite clients.

You will be working with FTSE 100 clients across all industries - large multi nationals, entrepreneurial businesses and many household names - providing a full service delivery. This means you can truly add value to your clients needs and have an impact on their business.

The role involves:
Leading business development initiatives on target accounts, contributing to winning new work
Leading existing client engagements, reporting directly to a Partner
Input into development of new market opportunities locally and nationally with an opportunity to lead the development of the new ideas
Identifying cross service line opportunities
Developing less experienced staff with hands on advice and support
Technical research
Corporation tax planning and advice regarding transactions, mergers and acquisitions and international tax

Who we're looking for
To be considered you must possess:
ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent qualifications or experience
Strong client facing skills
Confident communicator
Solid experience of developing and generating new business
Previous people management experience
