Provide interpreted management information to two Market Sector & Business Unit management teams. To take responsibility for preparatory routines within management accounting to ensure the accuracy of monthly/quarterly management information, and undertake ad-hoc projects as directed by the Finance Director. Key responsibilities will include:
• Management Information: To prepare routine statistical, performance reports for management as appropriate, e.g. on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. To liaise with the Finance Director in providing core management information in a consistent format.
• Management Accounts: To produce Market Sector management accounts and work with the Finance Director in producing Corporate management accounts in accordance with the reporting timetable.
• Ensure that financial management responsibilities of the Market Sectors and Business Units are performed correctly and efficiently to the overall benefit of the business.
• Project Performance: To provide key routine exception reports, e.g. job, client and market sector performance, that guide the management teams to achieve in managing projects & clients and in improving financial performance
• Departmental Performance: To contribute generally to the efficient and effective operation of the Finance Team. This will include provision of ad-hoc support to the Finance Director, assisting with management and corporate reporting requirements and any other financial /management accounting projects that may arise.
• Routines and Procedures: To improve and enhance the financial procedures

You will be a highly competent and business focussed Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with the drive to take on a newly-created opportunity in a period of significant change and development. The successful candidate will have developed strong commercial accounting skills, as well as the communication skills and confidence to build strong rapport, and act as a primary point of support, across a business at the highest operational level.
