• Take responsibility for managing all the day to day operations across two sites and will be fully accountable for production and shipments.
• Increase product availability, while reducing product lead times and inventory, improving cost while maintaining and improving the quality of all shipments.
• Support the introduction of new high value added products from the Technical departments as the business steps forward in its growth plans.
• Further develop this already Lean focussed organisation.
Who we're looking for
• Strong leadership and communication ability to quickly gain credibility within the production site across all levels of the business.
• Proven knowledge of lean manufacturing and customer driven business concepts, being able to demonstrate tangible achievements of production improvements.
• A strong sense of urgency, ability to execute and deliver on multiple projects quickly and strong decision making.
• Proven experience with the complexity of managing new product introductions.
• Come from a technical products background - ideally medical products but would consider aerospace, electronics etc.
