The successful candidate will be joining Terex Pegson, a hugely successful manufacturing / engineering company. The IT Director is expected to develop Information Technology strategy in support of the company's business plan. You will have full involvement with the company's Oracle E Business Suite 11i ERP implementation and then develop further projects and business plans for the IT department.
You will be working closely with 3rd party suppliers and will be expected to negotiate the best service level agreements with external and internal customers. As a business facing IT Director you will be responsible for researching and evaluating new technologies and then presenting them to the company for approval.
Reporting into the General Manager with a functional line into theRegional IT Director you will form a part of his management team to develop IT initiatives.
Your success will be measured on the development of robust IT systems, the successful implementation of the Oracle E Business Suite 11i ERP system and the development of staff within the IT department. It will also be essential for the successful candidate to be able continue support and day to day running of the Oracle systems.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have senior management experience, preferably within an international production / manufacturing / engineering environment. A strong commercial mindset, proactive, the ability to present technical information to non technical people, challenge and influence where required, champion customer service internally and externally and be a strong business partner with peers.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate experience within:
• SOX & ITIL compliance
• Oracle E Business Suite 11i ERP Implementation Project
• Budgetary experience of £3million +
• Experience of managing IT disciplines (systems deployment, systems architecture, technical support)
• Lead IT planning activities
• Strong project management experience<BR>• Managing complex IT strategy
• Developing, mentoring and coaching IT staff
