This role is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in this high profile and growing arts centre. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller key responsibilities will include:
• preparing and consolidating summary management accounts
• supporting the Financial Controller with the production of statutory accounts (in accordance with UK GAAP
and Charity SORP), as well as the year end process
• working closely with Business Partners who monitor and control departments' spending against budget for the various teams across the organisation (ranging from retail and commercial to production operations and technical, development, and, of course, our arts programming and producing teams)
• supporting the Business Partners with ad hoc modelling, analysis and reporting
• preparing and updating the monthly cash flow forecasts and reports for the organisation
• providing line management for the Assistant Accountant.
Who we're looking for
We need a bright, motivated individual who wants to work in an upbeat and committed team. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen and will be CCAB qualified or a finalist. Strong technical skills are key, as are interpersonal skills, to build and develop relationships with people at all levels across the organisation.
