DRE & Co require a Portfolio Manager to join their flourishing Practice. Reporting to a Partner, you will be in charge of a portfolio of clients which will include Corporates, Sole Traders and Partnerships. You will be responsible for organising the work flow, reviewing the jobs and managing junior members within the team. You will also deal with the day to day tax planning as it affects the Owner Managed Businesses. There will be no audit work within this role.
Who we're looking for
You should have a proven track record in accounts preparation with a background of working within the accountancy profession. Suitable applicants must be ACA or ACCA qualified and have some experience of managing people, with the ability to motivate staff and co-ordinate and lead a team. Experience of advising clients on the set up and use of accounting packages such as Sage and Quick books is an advantage.
You should enjoy working in a proactive environment and have a flexible working style which can anticipate future client requirements. The successful candidate must have good organisational and communication skills as the ability to build relationships with clients and identify opportunities for the practice is key for this appointment.
Candidates looking to relocate to the area would also be considered.
