In principal, you will ensure imports, exports and removals are processed on time and with 100% accuracy, maximising"duty" saving opportunities by processing entries under the correct customs control procedures.
in addition you will investigate and report on stock accuracy using the SAP system, prepare commercial documentation for shipping purposes, coordinate import and export consignments, general administration duties and provide support regular HMRC audits.
Who we're looking for
We are seeking candidates with a proven, successful track record in shipping and organising import & export consignments. In a high pressure environment you will be expected to meet deadlines, pay attention to detail and work under your own initiative. Your key relations will be inventory management teams, finance / accounts, Freight Forwarders,Banks and local HMRC officer.
