Insurance Solicitor (General Liability Practice Group)
The role involves:
• Providing verbal and written advice (in report format) to Insurer clients
• Correspondence in letter and by telephone with clients, brokers, claimants, claimants' representatives and experts
• Investigating claims
• Liaison with partners and other lawyers and claims handlers
• Attending client meetings
• Taking part in marketing activities
• Research

Who we're looking for
Candidates with a good grounding in defendant personal injury work including policy coverage to include EL/PL claims.

• Motivated and enthusiastic
• Good communication skills
• Well organised and able to work to deadlines
• Strong and consistent academics
• Confident and robust personality
• Strong personality who likes to work in a team

Our client has one of the largest insurance and reinsurance practices in the country covering contentious and non-contentious matters.Their expertise is widely recognised, as noted in the Chambers Guide where they are described as "top rank" and "hugely respected".
Their General Liability practice group is part of the firm's wider insurance department. The PEP practice group within the insurance practice currently comprises 3 partners and 15 other fee earners.
