The role of In-house lawyer is an exciting position that reports directly to the senior Commercial Lawyer and Head of Legal and Company Secretary, working alongside the rest of the small and friendly team of this media organisation
The candidate will be proactive , dynamic and personable and will have the requisite skills to control risk and advise the business in a commercial manner consistent with the practice of the company.
The team is encouraged to get involved with business projects that interest them and fit with their skills while continuing with the everyday commercial work.
The opportunity is based in an excellent location in the South West.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in any of the following:
• Commercial contracts
• licensing and syndication deals
• IT Contracts
• On-line legal matters
• sponsorship, advertising, copyright, libel review, data protection and web hosting
• Intellectual Property matters, music and video, domain name registration and rights clearance agreements
• Acquisitions, joint ventures and disposal agreements
• Litigation
• support for HR and other business partners
