Training Manager

You will be responsible for raising the capability of managers and employees through the creation and delivery of robust training and development initiatives to support the achievement of the business objectives as well as building a reputation for outstanding learning and development opportunities.
Your key responsibilities will be to:-
• Identify training needs and requirements across the Group and recommend appropriate and commercial solutions.
• Design and deliver a range of learning activities and training materials that meet the areas identified and co-ordinate the implementation of these.
• Support managers (line & HR) in the workplace with active learning, coaching and facilitation to ensure that effective 'on the job' training and ongoing development takes place.
• Ensure relationships with external training sources and third party suppliers are built and maintained as an ongoing activity.
• Complete all aspects of training administration including arranging training events, preparing joining instructions and training materials, liaising with external training providers and setting up internal record systems.

Who we're looking for
You should be of graduate calibre with a proven track record in learning and development. You need to have a detailed understanding of the entire learning cycle, from TNA, design, and delivery to evaluation of a variety of soft skills programmes. A broad knowledge of the training market is essential.
