This well established accountancy practice, based in Devon, is looking to recruit a Senior Manager to continue the growth of the Business. The role offers variety and challenge for someone who wants to be stretched and broaden their skill base, along with the potential for further progression within the Business. If you are currently a Qualified Senior or Manager and feel that your career is on hold there is a real opportunity for you here. You will need to be creative and enjoy problem solving to apply your knowledge on this diverse client base and advise some of the region's growing businesses helping them achieve their financial objectives.
There will be a strong Client focus to the role coupled with providing the technical expertise across both Audit, Accounting and Corporate Tax. This is a significant post for the firm and it is understood that applicants may look to progress further in the business.
Who we're looking for
You should be a qualified accountant with a strong sense of achievement, with the ambition and confidence to continue the growth of the Practice. You are likely to have worked for a similar sized independent firm and have an affinity with mid-corporate businesses and the financial issues they face.
It goes without saying that excellent people management and communication skills, coupled with the ability to instinctively respond to clients in an efficient and timely manner will be key factors for success in this role. Your interpersonal skills should be supported by a strong technical Audit, Accounting and Corporate Tax knowledge to not only provide continued support to your own portfolio of challenging clients but to provide the business with the technical support they need to ensure the ongoing development of the client portfolio and your peers.

Well established independent firm of accountants based in Devon with four Partners and around 30 staff.
The firm advises some of the growing corporate businesses as well as smaller concerns, High Net-Worth Individuals, Charities and prominent families in the region. As a result of continued organic growth the firm has this role whereby the successful person will be instrumental in supporting the continued development of the Business.
