The position of Procurement Controller will work within the UK Shared Services Procurement Hub, and will lead a team of procurement staff. The role will assist in instigating the culture of continuous process improvement, driving through change to deliver savings. You will have responsibility for managing purchase requisitions, and subsequent Purchase Order creation, with your team. You will also ensure the receipt of goods and services, ensure compliance to the Procurement process, identify non contract spend and redirect and work towards set KPI's whilst monitoring the performance level of the department. Continuous improvement is a key focus for the team and for this role and you will identify continuous improvement projects within this area.
Who we're looking for
We are seeking those candidates who have proven leadership skills. Knowledge of procurement processes and procurement is a must for this role. Candidates will also have effective communication skills, strong analytical skills and have the ability to work in different environments.
