Group Finance Manager

The Group Finance Manager will report into the Divisional Controller but have frequent contact with the Divisional CFO and Senior Management members. Responsibilities will include:

The monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated accounts for the Sylvania division and the timely production of financial statements under IFRS for the Sylvania holding company based in Malta, and group reporting to Delhi. You will also oversee the development and issue of group accounting and control policy statements and play an active role in the operational review of local sites. There will be significant involvement in many projects including upgrading the current consolidation system, and other group initiatives.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will be:
• A qualified accountant (ACA preferred).
• You will have had responsibility over a multicurrency consolidation and possess strong technical accounting skills, particularly relating to IFRS.
• Interpersonally you will have the ability to gain the confidence of Senior Management and the sensitivity and understanding to deal with people from varied cultural backgrounds.
• A second language, strong Excel skills and a good knowledge of Hyperion Financial Manager would be advantageous, as would prior experience of a manufacturing environment.

This division has two sites in England, and one in Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Holland and Tunisia.

What's on offer
£50,000 to £60,000 plus excellent benefits.
