An exciting opportunity for an ambitious and personableindividual who wants to be part of this expanding Personal Injury Team currently comprising 10 fee earners.
The Team has been recognised for its expertise, particularly in high value and complex brain injury litigation, by achieving a first tier ranking in Chambers & Partners. The Partner to whom you will report also enjoys the same ranking and is acknowledged as a leader in his field.
This young, dynamic team undertakes a mixture of high value and/or complex claims with a predominance of brain injury claims, many running to several millions of pounds. The Team has grown as a result of concentrating on such claims where the needs of the client demand a bespoke and holistic approach.
You will assist both the Senior Assistant and the Head of the Team, as well as having the opportunity longer term to build up your own case load.
Who we're looking for
• The role requires:
• A minimum of 6 months experience in Claimant personal injury. Exposure to Multi-Track with high value claims would be an advantage.
• An empathic approach to clients in what are often very traumatic circumstances.
• Excellent communication skills - a 'people person'; a team player who is enthusiastic about marketing the Team and getting to know clients and referrers.
• An outgoing, personable nature with enthusiasm to participate in the Team's development
• An innovative approach to the formulation of claims
• Excellent drafting skills coupled with attention to detail.
