This role will be to provide commercial legal advice, to manage and control access to external legal advisers, to support the companies risk management initiatives, and to provide a company secretarial service. Main duties will include Commercial Legal Advice/Managing External Lawyers - 35%, Legal Contractual Advice/Support - 30%, Company Secretarial Support - 10% (tbc), Risk Management - 15% and Corporate/Commercial Support - 10%
Who we're looking for
A solicitor with demonstrable experience of establishing and developing an in-house legal function. You will be confident in providing legal advice to all business areas and will be able to task external lawyers as required. You will provide commercial/contractual advice and company secretarial support. You will be able to in identify and manage legal risks associated with the business.
