City Inn Contemporary Hotels are looking for a dynamic Operations Manager for their prestigious site in central Bristol. City Inn is recognised as one of the most exciting, innovative and progressive emerging hotel groups having been winner at the Business Travel Awards - 3 years running. City Inn Bristol, opened in 1999, and was the first property in the City Inn portfolio, in addition to 167 bedrooms, City Inn Bristol has an established Meetings and Events and Private Dining operation, stylish bar and the acclaimed destination restaurant City Cafe, offering Modern European cuisine using the freshest seasonal and best sourced ingredients, delivered by an exceptional team.

As the Operations Manager at City Inn Bristol you will report directly to the General Manager, and will focus on the commercial side of the business by setting both short and long term goals whilst never losing sight of the passion our business has in delivering for our guests. You will be fiercely proud of delivering exceptional customer service across all areas of the hotel, be results focused and an inspirational manager for your team. City Cafe is the heart of the business and constantly receives critical acclaim for both its food and it's service. You will need to have a genuine enthusiasm for quality food and wine and drive your team to constantly give the service that is expected from the City Inn brand. You will lead from the front in standards, delivery and attention to detail and drive your skills to potentially become a General Manager of the future with City Inn.

Who we're looking for
· The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years operational/deputy general management experience in a 4-5 star hotel or premium fine dining restaurant.

· Be uncompromising where standards are concerned.

· Be a natural and confident communicator and have excellent interpersonal skills and strong people management skills.

· Have the knowledge of running a site, enthusiasm and energy to develop and motivate a team.

· Be hands on and proactive, and always looking for innovative solutions.
