As a Corporate Counsel you will be responsible for the companies legal affairs in its UK region. You will be part of the EMEA legal team and report to the Director of European Legal Affairs. The role is to provide first line legal support for all legal matters arising in the UK, With particular focus upon commercial contracts. This role will be starting on the 1st July 2008.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of the following areas:
• Commercial contracts; drafting, negotiating and advising
• Intellectual property rights
• Software licensing contracts
• Reseller and distribution contracts
• Service and solution agreements
• Relevant areas of European law, including in relation to distributors
Any experience in Employment law, Company law, commercial litigation and advertising would be advantageous.
