Account Manager

Permanent ⁄ £20000 - £24000

• Will be working on specific (magazine) titles for set periods.
• One day a week (Mondays) based at the regional office in Solihull, scheduling own appointments, working as part of a team.
• Selling advertising space, predominantly for on-line but also into hard copy handbooks
• Building relationships with customers and developing new business (leads provided)
• Generating additional revenues (selling up on current customers)
• Achieving 6 appointments per day, 4 days per week
• The role may well require you to work overseas for up to 12 weeks a year (one to two weeks at a time).

Who we're looking for
Skills and experience:

• Tenacity, drive and a lively enthusiastic personality
• Self-motivation and drive to achieve targets
• Great persuasive and communication skills
• Field sales or similar experience is very much preferred (tier 1 telesales candidates looking to take a step up will be considered)
• Good appointment making skills
• A clean current driving licence
• Experience gained within advertising would be advantageous
• Flexibility to travel within the UK and with the possibility of some overseas travel

What's on offer
£20,000 - £22,000 basic salary plus £10k to £15k realistic OTE (uncapped), plus fully expensed car, mobile phone, laptop and generous benefits.
