The role revolves around major projects and is key to the strategic success of the Group
You will be fulfilling the key accountancy tasks for projects responsibilities include:
• Project appraisal
• Monthly financial reporting on project performance
• Providing financial advice and support
• Produce quality budgets and management accounts, projections and Financial plans for the strategic land trading programme
• Monitor and control income; expenditure; assets and liabilities
• Manage the relationships between the Finance Team and relevant officers of the Groups' partner organisations
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will be someone who can build successful working relationships across companies within a group or working in partnership to the group, as well as within their own team. The ability to hold together productive relationships across distance as well as face to face will be key to being successful in this role.
In addition to being a good technical accountant, excellent oral and written communication skills are vital, this is a role where you will be having lots of opportunity to liaise with colleagues and associates who have a range of functions within the major projects not necessarily just financial and you must be able to engage and bring onside the people with whom you will be working.
Your accountancy skills may have been gained via experience in industry or through experience and qualification in one of ACA; ACCA; CIMA or CIPFA and you will have a high level of technical expertise in Management Accounts.
You will be someone with a can-do approach and be keen to deliver professional service.
